What Are You Focusing On?

What are you focusing on? Where are you putting your attention?
Are you focusing on something yummy and delicious or are you
focusing on something yucky and dismal?

What you perceive you receive. What you focus on you solidify, you
make more real.

What if you are an infinite being with great power? What if you create
your own reality? What if focusing on something is just another way
of creating it?

This past week was a bit of a hard one for me. It was like my past came
and bit me in the ass. Nice one! It took me a day to get back to my now
bright bunny bushy tailed self. I might have gotten here more quickly
had I focused on yummy things.

The reality is my family is nuts. That is not a judgment, it is an awareness
and a fact. What I do with them is choice. How I am because of them is
also choice. So, my aunt is in prison and all sorts of weirdness is going on.
Big whoop. My whole life has been one family drama after another.

My family puts Dallas to shame. The folks in Dallas had the most peaceful, easy
and loving family lifestyles compared to my family! What I am choosing today
is to laugh about it. My focus is on me and my family! How did I get to be so

After all the trauma, drama and abuse I have a normal life with a loving, caring
husband and two beautiful children. How does it get any better than this?

My focus is also on business and all the interviews and telesummits I have been
doing! What would it take for more of those to show?

What’s happening with my family is going to continue. I have a choice on what
I focus on!! My focus is on yummy things like the homemade ravoli and meat
sauce I just ate, how I am just about to lie down and read a book in bed with
my gorgeous husband and how I’ve chosen so much more peace, ease and joy
than I ever imagined possible!

What are you focusing on? What would you like to have more of in your life?

Thanks for the reminder that what I perceive I receive. Its sort of a nice yummie challenge to ask the question: What do I love about trauma and drama? and also focus on delicious beautiful things. Anything. I once did the exercise with people I labeled as ‘difficult’ to at least find a color in their clothing to like… lol. It worked. To do it both at the same time makes me aware that I am it all. The good the bad and the ugly :)

I’ve made a determination to write something every day, even if it’s not brilliant,
even if it is blah and I’m just having a funky time. I’m just going to write!!

    Big Huge Bear Hugs,
